Alcohol Testing in Head Hair
Hair strand alcohol test, similar to other drug hair strand testing, alcohol markers can be tested in scalp hair for extended periods. While traditional alcohol tests often focus on urine or blood samples, head hair alcohol testing, the same way as nail testing, an increasingly popular method in testing alcohol in hair. Head hair alcohol markers:
In head hair strand testing, both hair ethyl glucuronide (EtG) and hair Fatty Acid Ethyl Esters (FAEE) also known as hair Ethyl palmitate (EtPa) are tested. It is recommended to always test ethyl glucuronide (EtG) in hair as a minimum.
